Website and waitlist terms

These terms cover the Methode website at methodestudio.com and its free email waitlist. The website is operated by Methode Studio LLC ("Methode Studio," "we," "us" or "our"). You can contact us at [email protected]. The Methode app is still in development. These terms do not govern an app subscription or grant access to the app. App-specific terms will be provided before you begin using it.

1. Joining the waitlist
The waitlist is intended for people aged 18 or older. By joining, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the email address you provide is yours to use. Please do not sign up another person without their permission.
Joining is free. It does not create a Methode app account, start a free trial or subscription, reserve a purchase, or obligate you to pay for anything.
When you submit the signup form, you request a confirmation email and one email announcing the app's launch. We will not add you to a newsletter or other promotional mailing list without a separate signup or permission.
You can leave the waitlist at any time by replying to a waitlist email or contacting [email protected]. You can also use an unsubscribe link wherever one is provided. Leaving the waitlist does not prevent you from choosing to use the app later.
2. What to expect before launch
The website describes an app that is being developed. Screenshots, previews and descriptions of planned features may change as development continues. Estimated launch dates are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise.
Waitlist membership alone does not guarantee beta access, a particular launch date, availability in your country, or a particular price or discount. If we offer a specific benefit to waitlist members, we will explain its eligibility requirements and conditions separately before you rely on it.
We may delay or cancel the launch. If the waitlist ends, we will handle the information we hold according to our Privacy Policy. Nothing in this section removes rights you may have in relation to a specific promise we make or misleading information.
3. Using the website
Please use the website lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, misuse the signup form, or use it to harass others or send unsolicited messages.
We may block abusive requests or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or our legal rights. Where practical, you can contact us if you believe your access was restricted by mistake.
4. Website content
The original text, designs, illustrations, logos and other content on this website belong to Methode Studio LLC or their respective rights holders. You may view the website for personal use and share links to it.
Other copying, redistribution or commercial use requires the relevant rights holder's permission, except where permitted by law. These terms do not restrict rights such as lawful quotation or fair use.
Any general information about household planning or money is for information only. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice tailored to your circumstances.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle website visits, waitlist signups and messages. Agreeing to these terms does not give us permission to use personal information for unrelated marketing or future app analytics.
6. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but it may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. We may update or remove website content as the product develops.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights and remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, waitlist or applicable requirements. We will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights you already have. We will obtain additional agreement or consent where required. An update to these terms will not automatically enroll you in an app subscription or newsletter.
8. Applicable law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you as a consumer. This choice does not remove those protections or prevent you from bringing proceedings in a court available to you under applicable law.
